you could place almost anything with cabinets all one color . do you imagine a granite could appeal to you? thing to do..... get to a stoneyard and look. I would change the island cabinetry to all drawers. come back and post other options ......just depends if you want more vivid/ more movement/ more contrast ...or keep the whole look very quiet . Note how the floor tone looks great w the blue.....I dont know that I'd go so much into a pure white counter like that...if you want a light counter there are creamier backgrounds , while staying light w the look. Taj Majal comes to mind.

I love Taj Mahal and the lighter version of it Perla Veneta. My kitchen designer didn’t think it would go well but I am glad you suggested it. I will look at slabs :)

Whatever countertop you choose, run it up the wall for your backsplash.
