Thought I would send an update on the voyage south. My DH, sis, & I are currently in Matthewtown Great Inagua, Bahamas. It is our last stop before passage to the Dominican Republic, the Leeward Islands and ultimately to Grenada. I haven't had loads of time to quilt, but at calm anchorages or in the few marinas we have visited, I have pulled my machine out to quilt. I purchased some EPP paper templates and have actually seen an improvement in my hand stitching!
The Paducah AQS show is next week...first time I've missed it except for covid cancellation in about 20 years. Makes me a bit sad 😔
I even got to teach a bit of EPP while at the laundromat to a young Exuma girl who was intensely interested. Ended up giving her some fabric, templates, etc for her to take home.
