I rarely start...

...a post, but I know there are some here who would love these. If someone else has already shared, let me know and I will delete. I have no idea about the quality of the compnay, but I do love these. My granddaughter would, too, if I bought them.

I agree with Friday! Thanks, cyn. I’m seriously considering the housecat pair. :)

Tagging never works for me here, but didn't Mtn mention owning this brand in another thread? Maybe by bringing this back to top she’ll notice and chime in.

Here is what Mtn said about them in the ”I want to play dress up too” thread:

I bought a pair of Vivaia to wear when I walk from the train to the office (like most NYC women, my "real " shoes stay inside the closet in my office ... several pair.) I find the Vivaia to be almost too comfy. They feel like socks glued to a sole. They feel like I could walk out of them, but they are not too large. Just all over kind of odd. I never thought I needed a shoe with support, but I guess that is what I am saying --- no support.

Thanks bbstx, I couldn’t remember which thread and there are a few mentioning clothing choices so I didn’t want to search.

I sent a photo of the "doxie" pair to a friend because they were adorable. We didn't buy them because we spend all our money on our doxies.

Cyn those are so cute. I am still deep in my animal phase...

Yes, as BBSTX said --- but slippers could be fine, and also other people may not mind it. I have never before felt a pair of shoes lacked support, but these felt odd to me. YMMV

I have a pair of Vivaia loafers, a pair of ballet flats and a pair of pumps. Love the flats but I don’t love the pumps, I think the heel is 1 1/2 inches, but my foot feels like it is falling towards the toe, it that makes any sense. Make sure the flats are big enough; they are confortable even when snug, and you might not realize they are too small until you’ve worn them a bit.

I also have a pair of black wool thigh length boots from Vivaia that I didn’t order at first because the idea of a ”sock boot” seemed odd. They are comfortable and very warm and I really really like them .

They have a good return policy so I would not hesitate to buy those shoes as a gift. I’ve taken a peek at those more than once!
