What are your ideas for flooring? Though I love it, I Can't afford hardwood. Would like carpeting in living room, but need ideas on where to have the break from carpet to possibly LVP that looks like hardwood. Kitchen is beyond the doorway (no door). That flooring will also be replaced with same as dining room.

Yes, it is unorganized. I'm packing up the kitchen cabinets. 🙄

Do one flooring throughout, and my suggestion is to go with LVP to keep it all the same. One flooring will make your space looks so much spacious.

Your lighting needs to be addressed. What is going on now is wrong.

Another vote for LVP throughout, and then an area rug over the LVP in the living room.

@Elcieg..."what is going on is wrong"...wow! If you are referring to the DR and entryway lights, yes, The lighting will be changing. But one thing at a time. I have considered LVP throughout and an area rug, but after touring numerous new builds, I am not yet convinced I like it.
