HI!

Need help choosing colors for new ktichen. About to order shaker style (they dont do slim shaker) painted wood doors via Sherrs and need to choose a Sherwin Williams color for them to

paint.

And then choose wall color. and then a natural stone work top...

Using IKEA cabinets.

The ceiling is painted white wood and there is a large skylight, lots of natural light, and it opens into a living room with lots more light.

! and of the kitchen as it is now! thanks.

The kitchen flooring is oak, I've attached a photo of the same flooring in a different room, we haven't put it in kitchen yet..

Here's a photo of one I'd love to recreate color wise.

The photos don't appear to match the labels.

If it's the bottom photo that you want to recreate, why not just use the IKEA light gray LERHYTTAN cabinet doors and drawers, and the FÖRBÄTTRA matte anthracite Cover panel?

you could start with zurich white or nuance... SW colors. this is going to be really nice when done. with the unique natural light pouring in ...i'd bring home quite a few sample cards and put them right at eye level for a few days to note the variations.

here are painted cabs w SW colors..[Ive used the wall cab color-its good too]

    1. If you are doing a different door on an Ikea cabinet, why not go with a company that will do a skinny shaker and get you a true modern organic look? Your inspiration pics and your drawings look extremely different than what you will end up with. At least have the rendering done in shaker so you can see all the chunky new lines you are getting yourself into and how they will look with all of the lines in the ceiling.

    2. Select your stone worktop first and base your cabinet and wall color on it. There are thousands of paint colors you'll have to choose from based on your stone. If you choose your paint color first you are boxing yourself in to a limited number of stones that will work with it.

    3. I'd paint your wall color the same as your cabinet color. In fact, I'd probably paint your ceiing, wall, and cabinets the same.

If Sherr’s doesn’t have the door you want why not look at Dendra doors or Kokeena, they do doors for Ikea?

Thanks everyone. So Scherrs don't do the thin shaker in painted wood, only in engineered mdf. Same with Semi Handmade, and their door quote came out more than the wood Scherr ones and $3000 more than Scherrs mdf.. Kokeena use wood and their's was $8000 more than Scherrs wood.. hence, the shaker style for now... but I will cotact some of these other places suggested. IDK did the kitchen design and that's the 1st draft. I have asked them to make the coloring and style more what I want.

I'll attach a few others I like here:

I understand wanting to use Scherr’s. Sometimes it’s not just the doors but other stuff you need and trying to coordinate that over several companies doesn’t work well.

The green grey cabinets in your inspiration image look like a pretty close match for SW Sea Salt. It would pare well with Spare White, or any cool neutral wall color.

Thanks for the paint color idea... we are gathering some colors and getting samples today... I did also contact a few other door companies but my husband (the contractor) prefers wood, and Scherrs have some great reviews + pricing! Some other colors we are going to try will be the Sea Salt, plus

Cabinets. BM Revere Pewter cabinets .is one of the photos, similar to SW Worldy Grey..

    Cascade Green, Contented SW....

just pulling these off images I'd saved! we have ALOT of light. Will also go see come countertops for ideas, I think the one I like is $$$$$$ so may get something else, anything will look good compated to now lol...
