Our seedlings are often the first to bloom. We had 4 daylilies in bloom today, three of which are seedlings. We are about 2 weeks ahead this spring.

I'm not a fan of toothy daylilies but your seedlings are beautiful. Nice that your daylily season is off to a great start.

Nan and Brad - I don't think this one will be an extra early in the future. The scape is on the outside of the fan, so this is obviouisly a scape that didn't have enough rain or time to bloom last year. And since that scape was formed in a drought it has very few buds, only four. I expect to see it produce another scape this season, and I look forward to seeing what kind of bud count that one will have.

I like the 3rd seedling out of RS. But I've always been impressed with the looks of your Razor Sharp. It's one that stays in the back of my mind year to year........Maryl

Your seedlings are beautiful Debra. I am not sure which one is my favorite., but as always I seem to dark ones, but the other two also are gorgeous and can't really pick a favorite.
