Can I grow fire light tidbits hydrangeas in these conditions?

last year

Back a few years ago I had endless summers hydrangeas planted in an area with all day sun with no trees. I am zone 6b and in summertime it could be hot(80-100 degress)degrees. They could not take those conditions, and had to be moved. I found some roses to plant in their spot, however I still have room in that area. I am looking for a flowerings shrub that is3 compact, perennial, and blooms until fall. I thought about bloomerang lilac, but someone told me they do not truly bloom springtime into fall, and I need to try panicle hydrangeas like lime light. Can I grow lime light or fire light tidbits, are they hardier or will I get same results?
