Everyday seating for 2, 4, 8 people? Entertaining occasionally how many people?

Entertaining, social, 6 to 8 people mostly - something more formal than every day seating as we have a family room for that. It could be quiet listening/reading for my partner and I without the kids :)

Do yoiu have any pics of your style at least . The FP is in a awkward spot so maybe try arranging furniture as if it was not there . I do it often with corner FPs I just ignore them . Do you use the FP or just for looks ? 6-8 people are a lot of people to fir nicely in a space I would prably think 2 areas for seating that can be reconfigured to seat different sized groups . I have 2 sofas 4 chairs and a bench in my LR close to the same size as yours We have a FP also but I put a bench in front of it in the most of the year when we do not use it. Then the rest of teim I use it as space for seating that allows people to sit facing either space with those pieces I can rearrage the space often and even have a nice Christmas tree in the corner window with abit of juggling the stereo stand . My suggestio draw the room to scale use thta same scale to cut out pieces of furniture and play with them to see what can work. You get the furniture sizes off the internet as you look for stuff you like
