What is the ideal height of this rose in your mind? Among the purple/mauve roses I grow, the following can all keep rounded and bushy, but since I garden in Seattle with mild winters and summers, for their hardiness and heat tolerance I may not be able to help.

Poseidon (5.5') - Tall, nice vase shape, but it doesn't seem to like hot weather.

Fragrant Lavender Simplicity (4') - Beautiful lavender color with great fragrance. A better choice for you than Poseidon IMO. (It's on the lower left, behind the salvia.)

Rose de Rescht (4') - Charming button eyes, very fragrant.

Arctic Blue (4') - Top performer in my garden

Midnight Blue (3') - Special dark purple with great fragrance.

Vineyard Song (2.5') - Well branching, profuse flowers.

Sweet Chariot (1.5'-2') - Profuse flowers, drapey when fully bloomed, hanging basket style rose.

For the original question I don’t grow any of these except ’Life’s Little Pleasures’ which is new to me this year and a baby but I did want to point out it is a miniature in contrast to the others listed that are more traditional floribunda/shrub/HT types in case that matters.
