Kate - I really feel for you. Those are like the plagues of Egypt! Baby rabbits have arrived here and are eating the buds on the short seedling scapes. On the bright side, the Mister Butters clump looks fabulous. I too love the look of Stealth Bomber with Lill. Vapor Trail. Coach's Magic Man has such rich coloring! I have buds on that one this time, but the scapes look to be extremely short.

Great to see your many survivors! Too bad we cant spread that rain around, I could have used some of it the past two weeks…..we are getting rain today. Maybe you could move Gee Six and use it as a deer fodder….it sure is a weird one.

I hope Mr Butters and his well budded neighbor avoid the plague, looks like a good show coming.

Of course I like the yellows, but John Basilli surprised me. I don't like yellow/red combo's but the accent eye/edge look more maroon on JB which I do like.......You really do have my sympathy about all the pests bothering you. Will the deer eat your Profusion Zinnias as well?.............Maryl

Maryl, so far, the zinnias and roses have been fine. Wht should they bother them when they have hundreds of daylilies to munch on?!! lol

Coach's Magic Man certainly is rich. I picked up Early Shift because Laura raved about it. A good pic of Mr. Butters, which is so dependable.

I hate that you are having so many pest problems, Kate! scapes on my Coach's Magic Man are shorter here this year, but I do love that flower. Mine of course has not bloomed yet. Crazy Ivan is usually on short scapes on its 1st bloom, and is no worse than usual. Love Mister Butters. poor Like a Gee Six, it has so much potential.

Nancy, I agree about Coach’s Magic Man, the color is fabulously rich. It also dies not tend to melt in the heat like so many this color. I don’t think G6 has any potential in my garden-it is always ugly to me. However I sent some to Celeste last year and she sent me photos of that were so different and so pretty.

Mantis, Early Shift is a good multiplier here. It usually puts on an early show.

We too have a ton of rain. The daylilies are lovin' it!!! Everything is going to bloom early. Thankfully we don't have the other plagues you do.

Love the pic of Stealth and Lilian. Easter Courtship is o so pretty, and Clown Parade is lookin' good!
