Thats an iron deposit. Part of the natural beauty of real stone. Either embrace it or replace it, but it is natural and sometimes does not ever show up for some time after install.

There's no guarantee that any replacement would not have the same thing after several years. That's just natural stone, with natural minerals in it.

Well this might sound crazy, but I wonder if furnituure markers in one of the grey colors in the granite would cover it. You might have to recolor it periodically after cleaning. I’m not an expert, but if it bothered me enough to consider replacing, I would try to disguise it first.

No. Just hope that is the end of it. There may be more iron deposits and it may just continue to get worse.

I know someone who was able to have some edge rust removed by a restoration company - but my understanding is that it is a rare outcome.

I think it's beautiful. Natural stone has variation. I think you got the better side.

I like it! I’ve had these iron deposits show up years after installation. They don’t bother me - natural stone is wonderful.

Try a poultice and/or rust remover please. It could be metal contamination from fabrication.

I'm with @ Joe on this, because it is a fresh install, and is limited to the front cut/polish edge.

Otherwise? Embrace or re select/replace with a different material. No guarantee the same thing won't appear in a different spot.

oh Boy, that sure is frustrating! This is not what you wanted in your space. It sure is pretty but I can understand how you feel.

What did your fabricator say? Is there anyway they can address this? Hoping you get a solution.
