I would not limewash the bricks. Paint the siding to match the bricks including the garage doors, to unify the look.

Agree with matching the siding to the brick for uniformity, along with garage doors. You have a long, low roofline and the dark color on the siding isn’t helping. Also consider some windows in your garage doors for more interest.

Yes, paint the top clapboard the same color as the bottom applied stone. Paint the garage doors the same, but in a glossier finish.

I, also, think if you want to keep the new siding you had installed you could paint the garage doors the same dark color.

What you need is a driveway and a better front entrance. Photo is for your inspiration. Notice decking for entry. A mowed lawn and your tree will work with a simple plan. Were it my choice I would wrap that decking around the front and put it right up against the foundation. No need for any foundation plants.
