This layout will work for your room.

1. Center the rug on the fireplace
2. Place the sofa and loveseat at right angles to one another since they are NOT the same length
3. Keep the lounge chair diagonally in the corner
4. The dark oversized leather seating is not doing your room any favors. Replace it with a sofa and two lounge/recliners.

Can you add pics of all four walls. Are you open rearranging the sofas? The TV is much too high above the fireplace. What is above the low shelves with the lamp?

In what instances will you use accent chairs for additional seating in here? Your sofas are really large and in charge. Most accent seating will be dwarfed by them, so in order to fit large accents, you need a layout with more room for them to join the conversation.

You might try another layout. Perhaps look at placing the loveseat facing the TV and have two chairs where the loveseat is now. A similar layout is here below:

Bridgetmarie, unfortunately your dilemma is confusing -- you start off talking about two accent chairs, and then switch to saying you need a new couch. I suggest: deep breath, and clarify exactly what it is that is bothering you. I think you're trying to be as brief as you can. Use a few more sentences to make yourself quite clear. Potentially a lovely room, though.

You might try placing the sofa facing the fireplace, then keeping the other loveseat where it is and adding two chairs facing the loveseat.

The tv should be bigger and go on the wall to the right. The fireplace door trim should at least be painted black, The rug could be replaced with less color and figuring. Pictures of the space from two more sides would help choose the seating.

I think the best thing to do is to put the sofas so that they are opposite the fireplace and in order to be comfortable watching TV, I would also recommend putting the rug horizontally and putting some small coffee table in front of the sofa, I think there are enough seats in the room.
