This isn’t my flooring just one I used for an example! The flooring I chose is still a gray but has warmth to it. I see what you’re saying! There’s about the same pros and cons to each so it’s hard 😂

Can't really answer without seeing a floor plan.

You can also change directions.

I changed direction into the master suite, because the house is a large one-story, it looked better and I wanted "breaks" between certain areas to make refinishing the floors easier.

Yes, you can change direction of the flooring where it makes sense. I agree with Beth around the color of your floor. Can you post a photos of the exact one you chose?

Here it is. It is gray which I like for the particular modern look I’m going for, but it definitely isn’t a harsh gray and brings warmth when paired with wooden furniture

Update: I think A was the best choice ! Looks longer especially once they finish the hallway
