Love the garden shots. Hearts of Glass I like but Mister Butters would be my favorite. Bright and stands out. Hope the rain moves on so you get some dry time.

Thanks Julia! Today is dry and lower humidity so hopefully more work can be accomplished. I totally agree about Mister Butters. Such a bright spot in the garden.

Kazoo and Money Maker stand out to me today. Your Lydia's Regal Robes is so very dark! Mister Butters is wonderful, as usual, and, of course, I love all the garden shots.

I saw Mister Butters in bloom at a nursery here and like yours, it was a real show off. I imagine lots of shoppers went home with it if they like a stand out yellow.......Still admire your Flight of Orchids. It's the name plus the clump shot that does it for me..........I also like Money Maker and Great Balls of Fire. Does Great Balls of Fire fade much in the pm for you?............Maryl

It has been the same here with so much rain. We were to have 4 dry days, now it is only today with a tiny chance of rain tomorrow then rain. Catastrophe Waitress is a favorite here. In the pictures the beds look nice.

Debra, Lydia is indeed very dark. The blooms are almost like velvet.

Maryl, Great Balls of Fire is in a small bed close to my house and gets morning shade. Even in the afternoon it gets limited full sun. Here is a photo fron 6:00 p.m. today after a warm day.

Flight of Orchids is not a very fast multiplier here, but yours has really performed. Uncle Sam's Cut has made a good clump, though bud count doesn't look impressive. Glad to hear that Clouds is doing well, as I added that one. Yours beds all look so clean of weeds. Your leaf mulch must be effective. Kierabel, I see, is a Grossmann. The color is appealing; I wonder about the branching/presentation.

Mantis, that bed is relatively clean!! Remember I put cardboard under that leaf cover and that has been the key to weed suppression. Kierabel tends to be more of a ”top bloomer” for me. I will try to get a side view photo tomorrow. I did get a better view of Cloud of Witnesses so you can see scape height. (You can see some cardboard behind it as I spot layer it throughout the season as needed) Uncle Sam’s Cut is less budded than usual but if you enlarge it you can see the bud damage on many of the buds. These will fall off as others have.

Lots of beautiful daylilies, Kate! Love Hearts of Glass and Kazoo especially! I had Kierabel and it was doing great, lots of bloom from it, good multiplier, and suddenly one day I was gone a couple of days and just dead foliage where it was. Crown rot I guess.

Hearts of Glass is so pretty, I think Kay grows it too. Moneymaker caught my eye, love the color contrast with the throat, cant go wrong with purple. Of course, love the garden shots!

Everything looks great, so lush and well-watered....LOL. Still waiting on rain here. Pop-up events have happened all over the state but they keep missing me. Dragging hoses around is getting exhausting. I'm glad you have at least one garden that you can enjoy. Mister Butters is indeed impressive and it lights up the garden.

Constant rain sure makes it hard to enjoy (or work) in the garden. The flowers look like they love it though. Mr. Butters is a fantastic clump. I also like Money Maker and Flght of Orchids.

Nancy, Heart of Glass is pretty but all blooms are barely above the foliage. Kay’s may be taller. Do you think voles may have feasted on Kierabel-sounds like their MO.

Sherry, This is second year for Money Maker and wow how it has exploded! I think I am going to like it.

Celeste, I cringed when I wrote that about the rain knowing how much you need it! So yes everything is indeed well watered!!
