Friday's flowers on a windy day

The humidity was really down today, but it was so windy that it was hard to take pictures. The scapes were tossed around. The sky was totally clear and the sun was harsh.

Here are a few we photographed--all seedlings.

Mantis was asked about Tet Rose F. Kennedy offspring so here are a few blooming today. Most of the flowers from Tet. Rose are rather large.

This is (Back Draft X Tet. Rose F Kennedy) X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy)

Impressionist Sky X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy). The black landscape cloth behind the flower doesn't add much to the photo. The new seedlings will go back there.

This one is smaller than the previous two. I couldn't get the photo without the shadow. This is Gryphon Carl Linnaeus X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy.

This is Raspberry Flambe X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy). I like the watermark and the wider petals on this one.

This Shipwreck Cove X Empire of Dawn and Dusk seedling has the best scape of the bunch, but the petal color is not as white as I would like.

This one is quite tall. It is Unstoppable X ((Back Draft X Tet. Rose Kennedy) X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy)).

This is Love All Serve All X Spacecoast Velvet Valentine.

I guess I didn't get any dip photos today.

Nice grouping of seedlings. Very intense color and I like the form. Interesting to read the crosses you've done.

Raspberry Flambe X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy) is my favorite, I too love the watermark. Unstoppable X ((Back Draft X Tet. Rose Kennedy) X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy)) and Love All Serve All X Spacecoast Velvet Valentine. are next favorites.

The Raspberry Flambe seedling is my overall favorite of these. I'm a sucker for watermarks. I'm also attracted to the tall, dark Unstoppable seedling.

I like these seedlings! I especially like (Back Draft X Tet. Rose F Kennedy) X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy) , Unstoppable X ((Back Draft X Tet. Rose Kennedy) X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy))., Raspberry Flambe X (Lavender Oasis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy) and Love All Serve All X Spacecoast Velvet Valentine. And I am totally in love with Muy Caliente.

Kay, I am so glad you like Muy Caliente! It is one of Bob's favorites too. I does make quite an impact in the garden.

I do like the Raspberry Flambe, love watermarks, but the 1st one is my favorite I think. Something about that color.

The Unstoppable seedling looks the best to me, but who knows about plant habit. I assume you are happy with the RFK crosses.

The Unstoppable seedling looks wonderful. Maybe it's the lack of humidity, but that maroon/red is so deep and rich - almost bordering on black. If the center holds it's bright yellow color, the contrast between it and the base color would make for a truly striking color combination. Rather like Marietta Warrior (whose center unfortunately fades)............Maryl
