It depends on animals to disperse the seeds. The seeds are ripe when the berries look juicy and tasty, like now.

It can be tricky knowing exactly when they are ripe. EG, like when(you) wanting to collect Uvularia grandiflora seeds discover one day that the plant had exploded them right out of their pods! Don't ask how I know.
