It's a big one!

last year

I finally finished my daughter's quilt. She picked out the pattern, the fabrics and the panto. She wanted an oversized queen to accomodate her, her husband and the three cats that sometimes share the bed with them. It finished at 93"x98". The pattern is Division by Andy Knowlton from abrightcorner.com. The panto is Target from Anne Bright. This was the first time I used a wool batting, and at this point, I would say that I prefer the 80/20 cotton/poly blend that I usually use. I used a top-of-the-line wool batting, but it varied in thickness. It does give a nice loft to the quilt, but I didn't realize that the tension on my longarm should have been adjusted. The quilting on the back of the quilt is not as crisp as I would have liked. She loves, loves, loves it though. And that's what counts.
