Need to rebuild wood trellis in backyard of our Mediterranean home. It was built to provide shade to seating area. However, it is quite old and has not been maintained well. There is wood rot and structural issues with some of the beams. To repair would be costly and seems like we might be chasing a problem. We are looking into options to replace or perhaps modify it with strong wood or vinyl. any recommendations?
