How about a friend that is an artist then a cool mural . Maybe for now big pots deep enogh to grow some vines and some trellis attached to the wall. You could even let the kids paint it with lots of color and fun .

I would paint it the house color.

There is a lot of hardscape and I’d aim to soften up the area in general. Suggest painting wall white, adding two large planters and soft solar lighting.
