Wow those leaves do look tobbacco-ish. I bet the flowers glow in the evening and smell nice! Maybe you will get some Hawk/Hummingbird moths visiting at night.

Carla, wow, those leaves. Hmmm. My friend grew that plant, but I don't remember such huge leaves. Something genetic is going on. I suggest you dry the leaves starting in late summer, and when they've cured in your garage, try rolling one up and smoking it. I think I'm full of something. Diane

That is Sylvestris and the plant is huge. I grew all the types in Alaska and the shorter varieties were great in pots. All better in a cooler area than here I would have thought. If Carla has this success maybe I could try too.
