My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We love the color of your interior and exterior wood stain!

Would you mind sharing what stain product and color you used to achieve this color on the interior and exterior.

Your grey cedar shakes are fantastic as well - what stain was used on these?

Fantastic looking and feeling home.

    Hey Duncan. I just responded to your email. But here it is again...

    We get our stain from CBR Products in Vancouver. The exterior timbers are done in their Broda SLT product and the interior is done in linseed oil. If the client wants natural wood inside and out, we usually use the Heartwood 125 on the exterior to match the linseed oil/aged natural fir look on the inside.

    As for the colour of the shakes, I really don’t know. I would guess either Driftwood or cape cod grey, but I can’t say for sure – we didn’t handle that part of the job. Bill at CBR could tell you from the photo what would be the closest match.
