It's blackspot heaven here-incredibly muggy. The temperatures aren't that bad, considering the way it's been going these last few years, but being outdoors is extremely unpleasant. I hate summer,but have no right to complain this year, I think, since at least the weather has been relatively "normal" (if that concept can even be applied anymore to weather in Italy) this year, so far. Inside the house it's still comfortable,thank Heaven.

The blackspot arrived earlier, but for the rest, it sounds just like here. I've spent the last couple of days puttering around in and close to the house; couldn't face any place sunnier. Heaven knows the puttering was needed, and lots more, too. And the CHIGGERS have arrived. At least, they act like chiggers, causing awesome bites; first time this year.

The forecast is for thunderstorms and lower temperatures in a few days. I sure hope they come.
