IDK about the Downy girl, but the other ones were considered culturally insensitive or racist.

In the case of Downy, the earlier bottles are probably considered old fashioned. Marketing in this era apparently has to be hip, contemporary, edgy.

I don't know if this is actually a serious post or trolling...can anyone be tone deaf enough to not realize how culturally and ethnically inappropriate those "icons" were? There's a reason they're gone.
