Looking for a counter height bench for kitchen

I've spent hours looking for this stupid counter height bench from Lee Industries

I've gone to three different stores that Lee's website says carries their products. I've even spoken to a sales person at Robb and Stucky who refused to give me a price until I picked a fabric but they didn't have the samples so she'd call be back (she never did).

I tried two other places- one had gone out of business the other no longer carried Lee at all.

So now I turn to you oh Houzz. Where can I find something similar that does not smell of formaldehyde (specifically thinking of something we ordered from Wayfair that had such an intense smell we had to send it back).

i can understand not getting pricing until fabric is selected as the price varies greatly depending on fabric grade, however the dealer should have offered to give you a price range for the piece

. its odd the dealer didnt have the swatches . you can get free swatches directly from lee but they are only 3x3 so if you want something with pattern it will be difficult to descern. the dealer should be able to get larger swatches for you to view..

If giving up on Lee, try searching on Pinterest as there are lots of sites and all kinds of options.

IMO a weird choice but the one you show is also vinyl so probably smelly too/ It looks even odder in the pic you show . So maybe a bit of info .

Helpful. The image from their page is leather the other is a custom fabric.

Maybe you don’t have a good eye for these things?

Have you contacted Lee directly? You can do that on their website. Or contact the builder directly ask who the designer was for that project and their contact information.

Counter height benches are extremely awkward to use. It usually results in a power struggle for distance from the counter and butt real estate. And the occasional turnover and crash.

How does someone get off when there are 2 people sitting on it? Wouldn't the bench need to be pulled out? And how do you pull it in closer to the countertop with 2 people? Seems very impractical.
