Began the day with watering. I shudder to see the water bill.

Addicted to Love has been very attractive.

Truth Teller looks very interesting. In my climate the colors would not be anything like what you have I'm guessing, but I certainly will enjoy seeing how it does for you.......Party Pants is a show off, and Wild Cherry Wine looks much like mine did. I enjoyed mine for many years.........Maryl

Three of these I did not see in my garden this year due to the you know whats: Forever Redeemed, Wild Cherry Wine, and Wispy Rays. Of these, WCW was the one I missed most.

Captain Freckles does not exactly show a lot of lavender in your photo. Is that typical or due to heat/no rain? I love Tattered Heart. Party Pants looks blemish free. Addicted to Love is pretty. I had Something Wonderful at one time but was eaten by the great vole invasion. Nice clump shot you are showing of it.

I think you did well with your sun shots. The only color I'm able to photograph well in sun is red. I think my top favorites today are Tattered Heart and Something Wonderful. Sometimes those older cultivars show off better than any of the newer stuff. Addicted to Love and Deep Dark Secret also catch my eye.

Of course I like WCW. Great plant. I was visiting friends in MD this past week and I spotted WCW from across the garden. I wish I remembered to take a picture of their clump. I also love PARADISE BAR AND GRILL. I find the contrast between the eye and the petal colors to be striking and rich. The clump shot of SOMETHING WONDERFUL is something wonderful. Now I am wishing I did not sell all of mine.

sun shots or not, they are beautiful. Addicted to Love is beautiful. Tattered Heart is a lovely one; I can see why it is a favorite. Let the Sea Resound. is a beautiful bloom. Deep Dark Secret is a pretty one. Truth Teller is very pretty..even in a sun shot. It will be interesting to see how Southern Shiner does. And I like Paradise Bar and Grill. Old one are good too. and One Last Dance is lovely.

Catching up on posts and these are nice pics. I had Philistine Champion in NYS but it didn't make the move with us. I may just go and see who has it. It has a combination of colors that stands out and I'll need to find the right perennials to grow with it. . Tattered Heart is one I'll got and look up.

Sun or not, a beautiful post, David. Addicted to Love is a beautiful thing. Tattered Heart is so pretty. Of course, WCW is beloved by all of us. Let the Sea Resound is a pretty one too. I like all the darker ones too.
