Since you all were so helpful with my shutter decision last week I thought I would go back to the well with a grout question.

My wife and I have hit decision exhaustion a month ago. We have finalized the tile choices for our powder/mudroom as well as the kids bathroom.

The powder/mudroom will have faux slate tile with 1/2 wall height subway tile with raffia wallpaper above that. I was told that ‘Anthracite’ grout plays very well with slate. I’m curious if you agree and if so what do you suggest for the offish white subway tile walls?

The kids bathroom will have a matte navy hex mosaic on the floor and the slightest most off white subway tile going halfway up the walls. I’m thinking that the grouts for these 2 tiles should match. Correct me if I am wrong with that theory. If you agree I’m torn between a light grey and a biscuit grout.
