What’s the Real Cost of Replacement Windows?

Just finished getting quotes for replacement windows and wow, the prices are all over the place. Some companies are quoting $500 per window while others are closer to $1,000. It’s hard to know what’s fair or if I’m getting ripped off. Anyone here gone through this recently?

How much did you end up paying? And was it worth going with the more expensive option? Trying to figure out if it’s worth the extra cash or if I should go with the cheaper ones. Any advice or experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!
