Java Construction did an amazing job on my primary suite remodel. The project included a sitting room, bedroom and primary bath (complete tear out and renovation). Steve and Austin were very professional, timely and responsive throughout the entire project. They and their team went above and beyond to complete this significant job with quality workmanship and in an expedient manner. I recommend them highly and would hire them again.

Stonehenge Construction were extremely helpful before, during and after our kitchen and master bath remodel. Their professionalism and dedication enabled the project to come in on time and slightly under budget. They choose to work with a range of skilled craft people and sub contractors, with whom they have long standing relationships. This meant that the daily schedule Stonehenge provided for the entire project was adhered too. Karen was also a big help during the design process. I appreciated her ability to work with our budget and ideas.

The bottom line is we got MORE than we expected…within $54 of our budget… and finished ON TIME! And we actually ENJOYED it! They renovated our 1951 ranch home in Middletown. Our goal was to create a kitchen that was bigger & better connected to the rest of the house to allow us to have a welcoming gathering space for our family. Also on our list was a powder room, mudroom and a first floor laundry room. (We ended up with a walk-in pantry that we are so glad to have!) It was important to us that the design to be seamless with the style of our house & not “cookie cutter” & we knew we’d found the perfect company to accomplish all of this with Bailey Design + Build. We were able to live in the house throughout the process & we appreciated that there was substantial daily progress. Never one day wondering “where IS everyone?” They hit every date on the schedule (that we had access to through a portal) & it was impressive! On top of that, our home was kept so clean and organized. Having the same project manager on site every day is KEY. Wes kept us in the loop, is an excellent communicator, considerate & competent. A big consideration for us was having design help. This service being in-house made so much sense to us. The talented drafting team paired with skilled design work (and hand-holding through vendor appointments) by Christy Maser set the foundation beforehand & allowed for them to provide a realistic timeline and budget. I would say what we didn’t know we needed-that made the whole thing come together-was a project manager that was on-site all day, every day. Wes became like part of the family. He was upbeat, organized, skilled, respectful of our home & a great communicator. I could say more about others but you don’t have the time for all that! The people we met were such a pleasant surprise in the process & ENJOY their work. Brandon Bailey has built a well-oiled machine that includes top tier subs that just do amazing work. All through the process, every sub & vendor would mention how good Bailey was and that we'd made a great choice. “No one does it like Bailey”, we heard over and over. Knowing that we were getting ready to spend a lot of money on improving our home, we didn’t want to risk it with someone that we weren’t completely confident in & trusted. Such a positive experience for us! Words that come to mind are creativity, trust, punctual, efficiency, collaboration, patience, respect (of us/our home/each other/the subs), organization, flexibility & great communicator/listeners. They truly operate guided by their company core values. They will be our only call for future projects.

We had a great experience working with Travis! He went above and beyond throughout the entire process and was always willing to help. Communication was consistent, clear, and timely, which made everything much easier on our end. He was very responsive to changes and never made us feel like we were asking too much. His attention to detail really showed in the final product. On top of that, his pricing was very fair for the quality of work we received. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the renovation project completed by Lutke Construction. I feel very fortunate an architect recommended Bryce years ago and have worked with him on two projects for my 100 year old home in the Highlands. Disclaimer: I have a distaste for modern day laborer construction methodology using disposable material resulting in ticky-tacky outcomes. This is where my appreciation for Bryce begins. Growing up and residing in historical neighborhoods, Bryce has an appreciation for craftsmanship and the requisite talents and patience to entrust my preferences. He has good ideas and is receptive to mine. He is onsite every day, overseeing and working with his longtime employees, and as often as possible, sources reclaimed material to ensure my projects are period-appropriate. His local contacts (e.g., in millworking, masonry, etc.) perform to his, and my, high standards. Finally, I simply like the guy, and there's not a lot of precedence for me enjoying the company of those to whom I write checks. If you are considering construction or renovation on your home, and appreciate the charm of Louisville best represented in the character of its established neighborhoods, I highly recommend Bryce for your project.
