Good Morning,

We are finishing off this room in the pool house. It is not very big, only a few steps of walking around. People will be coming in wet to get drinks and change out of their bathing suits.

I had originally wanted to paint the floor then seal it with a clear non-slip coating (see the last photo for the beach floor I had envisioned here). I was talked out of painting for fear it will peel. Also, I guess I can't do an Epoxy coating on top of paint because the concrete needs to be prepped first.

Any suggestions on what I could do here? I'm looking for something with a wow-that-looks-cool factor otherwise I know I can just leave the concrete as is. I just know it will feel like the floor was ignored when the rest of the room is finished off.

The walls are getting a white faux-ship-lap with blue trim.
