We have been in our new home a little over 2 months, and I thought I'd share some new pictures of my sewing room (thanks for asking, Theresa!). I think it's all done now, except I may decided to paint (leaning toward light green). :)

This is my pressing and storage area. My hubby and I made the ironing surface, and it's on top of a cabinet my dad made for my mom. Inside the cabinet are 8 drawers of varying sizes, and pegs for spools in one door and pegboard to hang tools in the other. I bought the two tall white cabinets; they have most of my fabric stash, tools, and my two "extra" sewing machines. LOL The curtain rod holds my design wall, which is just a very large piece of flannel I can pull out when I need it.

This is my quilting frame (10 ft long). I like that I am facing the window when I'm quilting. There are four recessed lights overhead, which is really nice! The storage bins underneath have tools, yarn, batting, projects, and my very large collection of strings.

My folding cutting table is to the left of the window, and DH hung a light over it in case I need it. So far I've done most of my cutting on the sewing table under the window.

My sit-down sewing area. Hubby built the three pieces. It was in an L shape in the old house, but we realized it would work better in a straight line here. I love that I am right by the large north-facing window! Hubby also put a light over the bulletin board in case I need extra light in that area.

And that's a tour of my sewing room! It's a bit cozy, but I really like having everything in one room. In the old house the quilting frame was in the dining room. :)

I don't know how much more quilting will get done for a while. I am calling Monday to schedule surgery on my left rotator cuff. It has a full tear, just like the right one several years ago. This morning I trimmed two quilts and hope to get the machine sewing part of the binding done today.
