That temp sounds heavenly!! I’m not getting those temps at night!

You have some really pretty ones here. I love the color on Lovely Miss Laucious and Gently Down the Stream. Mage Quest is a looker. I hope your great weather continues!

Oh wow! 72! We were quite a bit higher, I think we reached 100 and the heat index was 107 the last time I checked. 72 would feel lovely.

The blooms are lovely as well. I like Claudine's Charm, Smurfette (I have a cat with that name). Lovely Miss Laucious, and Gently down the Stream.

Looks like seasonal temps are in our future, supposedly no 90’s for awhile and no more 72.

I was rejoicing because we had a "cool" day today of only 90. Back to the 100's next week I hear......Boy, those are some pretty daylilies. Your temperature sure helped them look in peak color.....Lovely Miss Laucious is my favorite, but Mage Quest and Clown Parade are good ones too.....I've been interested in Claudine's Charm and the color is very vivd in your photo. Belle Cook and Mage Quest are my favorites today, even if they do have fewer scapes. Now that you've removed some the phlox, they may throw some later scapes for your. Real Wind does have nice colors. I'm surprised Magnificent Rainbow is blooming so early for you. I used to grow it, and it bloomed ML for me. I always liked the flowers, but not it's short stature. The grubs finally killed it.

Belle Cook here too has fewer scapes and flowers. I always like it even if it is a shorter plant. Coast to Coast also catches my eye. I see that it too is a shorter cultivar, but the scapes look well budded. We are having the weather you had yesterday. Low around 50 and spring-like temps in the seventies. Problem is that the cold night followed by bright sun means crappy blooms that don't open well. Unfortunately, the same tomorrow--just as I am approaching peak.

Coast to coast is shorter, it is on the edge of my raised bed. its a good performer here and its stature allows me to reach and deadhead behind it.
