That is such a pretty rug, and you have a lot of options for wall colors. Since your furniture is dark wood, I'd go with a lighter color for the walls. There's a lot of gold in the rug, so if you want to warm up the room, gold/yellow would work. Do you have substantial trim in the room that you want to accent? Use a slate blue on the trim and off-white walls for a dramatic look. You could also paper the walls, like they did here:

Any of the colors you posted would be a nice neutral backdrop for the room. You could then add some more color/pattern with curtains or shades. Good luck!

I often choose a color from a print that is not the main color it tends to pull tat colr from the print I think if you have gray walls a yellow toned anything will be a huge change . What is the furniture in the LR like ? All of this needs to work together so post a pic of the furniture in the LR too since you only show a DR rug.

Can you post a photo of your dining room? That really helps in giving advice.

I personally love the yellow/gold paint colors for walls. Very rich. Opulent. And as @Diana Bier said, ”Yellow is a happy color!” I agree! In fact, I’ve just moved to a place that has yellow/gold walls in LR , DR, kitchen, bathroom and hallways - and I could not be happier! :) The bedrooms are a creamy white, which I also love.

I still want to understand why the change from gray to yellow tones that seems a bit odd to me. I ahve gray walls and cannt imagine yellow toned walls with my stuff that went well with gray.I think a very pale almost white gray. green would be a much better choice this is one I cut 50 % often it is a great neutral and yes I do use it often it is very versatile and looks waesome with blues BM Healing Aloe and as I said cut 50% it is just a hint of color

The change from gray to yellow is because the gray didn't work with the rug's colors, which has a lot of yellow/gold in it. Neither does Healing Aloe, which contrary to Patricia's opinion, does not work in every room.

With so much yellow in the floor, I would do a soft blue that coordinates with the rug (don’t match it, go lighter). The blue in the rug seems to lean turquoise/aqua, so the hint of green keeps it from being too cool. Blues work beautifully with wood.🙂 My walls are Behr Valley Mist.

Patricia, we inherited the gray/greige walls on the whole floor when we moved in. The floors used to be a dark gray. It's never been my favorite, so I'm trying to break free of out now! ShadyWillowFarm, that is a very pretty color! Something like that might work well in our front room. I am with Diana in not wanting a baby blue.
