Ideas needed for living room

I just bought a subsale house would like to get some ideas for living room decor. It comes with built in cabinet and TV cabinet as shown in pics. I don't plan to remove them so will decor around them. I'm thinking of adding fluted wall panel besides TV cabinet but there's like wall beam thingy sticking out along the top part of the wall. Will adding fluted panel below it still looks good or there's other options instead? Thanks for any feedbacks
