Yes, you can get stainless. Many people slowly change their white appliances (as they die) with stainless only because they think it looks better.

If you like your white appliances, get white ones as they die. My mom replaced her old DW with another white one, as she did with her refrigerator because she loves white appliances. It’s a matter of personal preference.

If you’re wanting to move towards S/S start with the first one now.

Hense just about anything is available in stainless but White, not so much.

Be prepared to wait! Just delivered a White G.E. Profile fridge to a customer that I ordered 6 months ago. Low end fridges are plentiful in white, Higher end or large fridges in white, G.E. is probably your only choice.

Agree that AJ Madison is a good option. They have A LOT of options.

There aren't as many options that come in white, so replacing it with stainless steel might be all you can do. I wish I had the option to get the fridge I wanted in white, so I feel your pain.

Of course you can. From a visual standpoint, stainless steel refrigerators don't feel old after a while. It will add a different color to your kitchen.

You can and it is a costly, but good test. I moved into a home with old appliances and replaced the harvest gold fridge with a stainless fridge. Everyone seemed to be getting stainless and I thought I would replace all the appliances as they died with stainless.

By the time the dishwasher died I had owned the stainless fridge for a few years and knew that I dislike stainless. It is far more difficult to keep looking nice than my white appliances. I just replaced the range with a GE Cafe Matte White range and have a Bosch white dishwasher and will eventually replace the refrigerator with another white fridge when it dies, but at least I only replaced one appliance before learning that stainless is not for me.

What are the dimensions you need? Standard depth or counter depth? Is 36” across going to fit? Let us know the opening and we can find sources for you.
Having been shopping for a fridge recently I know BestBuy can get a lot of styles that are not on their showroom floor. Probably most places have access to more sizes than they show.
