If you're tired of the dark grey, consider going for a lighter, more refreshing color. Soft neutrals like light beige, warm white, or even a pale blue can brighten up the space and make it feel more open and inviting. Make the wall color as close as possible to the floor color.

You could go a 100 different ways. What colors do you like? Neutral beige or greige are all easy transitions. Why not try something bold and daring while working with your current blue grays in your furniture and art.

I like the space and how tyou have decorated I hate beige always it is IMO never neutral . Maybe use a color form a piece of art you love I often choose the color not prominant in the art for wall color it works well for me. This is a color I love for a neutral I cut it 25-50% usually it is IMO a true neutral.It is BM not SW. I love my gray walls but they are a really pale gray called Vancouver Day from C2 . I have had tem for 17 yrs and still love them but I do have 3 accent walls through the house

Who makes the paint you are suggesting. Are you suggesting healing aloe ? Do t know what bmo means

Healing Aloe is made by Benjamin Moore. I also suggest looking at Paper White by them. It's an off white that leans blue-gray. It's a lot lighter than what you have now. Because of your rug, furniture and accessories it looks like you could use a little blue-gray in your wall color. Or look at whites like BM's White Dove, Cloud White, or Swiss Coffee, or SW's Pure White and Alabaster. It's hard to tell from a photo exactly which white would be best with your flooring.
