I have several window baskets on shelves outside my windows. Most have geraniums. But geraniums finish blooming in June or July and then look awful, also requiring trimming and cleaning. I need something less effortful, and that looks green and reasonable most of the year. (I am in N. Cal SF East bay, its hot in summer and cold in winter) Also somewhat drought tolerant as I often forget to water.

Something green, flowers optional but groomed look desired and preferred.
