A more pure white, though not stark, wall color could be helpful. You might not even mind your sofa with a new white wall color.

Nothing wrong with your floors.

All your living furniture is in the same shade of beige.

For kitchen, some saddle stools in a darker stain and maybe a colored leather.

No sectional needed, but you could add some larger, and more comfortable, side chairs that bring in some color. Tie their color to a new rug.

Don't start buying random things ... make a mood board first and play around with potential changes.

Agreed about the floors, they look like beautiful wood. You need not do anything to them. What I would change is the backsplash and your sofa.
