Choose a color from the stone. What is the current trim color?

So I’m not sure of either color. We bought it this color but have always wanted to change it. The trim is supposed to be complimentary but all of the yellow undertones pop out in the sun (which is most of the day)!

It is hard to tell from the lighting in the pictures exactly what color your stone is. Look at SW's top 50 colors. There are a lot of neutrals in different shades in that group. There are probably several that would complement your stone. Daylight tends to wash colors out, so you will want to choose one that looks darker at first glance than what you want. The last time we chose a paint color, DH got a piece of drywall from HD and cut it into four pieces. Then we sampled on the pieces. You need to sample on a large enough area so that you get a good idea of how the color will look from a distance as well as up close. You can move boards around to all sides of your house. Look at them at all times of day and under sunny and cloudy skies. It sounds like you don't care for your trim color, so once you choose the body color, either come back here for suggestions, or go two shades lighter for trim. SW's website also sometimes suggests white/off whites to go with colors. For instance, Repose Gray and Eider White.

I like the brown house and brown garage door in your second photo. I know it's the warm light but it is a very nice color in that light.

I think white house would be too much contrast with the stone.

@lisedv the picture with less light, just knowing that it gets a lot of afternoon/evening sun. The ”sunny” picture is from last night around 8:00. I do have some colors I really like but it is a huge (anr expensive) commitment!

Base: ethereal mood or fawn brindle

trim: Shoji white or useful gray

garage doors: Urbane bronze

My personal opinion is that I prefer the colours as the appear in the picture below (greyish tone to the browns) compared to the ones you are considering.
