You can have it different, if thats what you would like, I prefer the inside of the exterior door to match the trim and other doors in the house. Neither way is wrong. Its all personal preference.

in your case, the trim goes to the floor, so appears separate from the base. do what you like.

I would paint just the door trim black to make the door look more prominant, but it is all a personal choice.

It looks fine. Leave it as is. The Black and White works for the front door. Black trim would be too bulky. The gray would look odd.

IMO the front door is a toatlly different style that the rest nd IMO not very attractive either . Why that style with no glass and black ? I think now leavve it as is no black trim to make it look even heavier .
