Paint will not fix a structural issue. You need to gut and replace the whole everything here.

There are kits to use on hairline cracks that can buy you sometime but it is not a real solution to the problem. Pedestal sinks, including yours, are not that expensive and probably don't merit the cost of reglazing, if that would even fix the problem.

Tell us your budget and timeline. Then we can suggest to you a new sink and options for flooring within your budget and timeline.

Do you want to replace the pedestal with another pedestal or something that could get you some storage. It looks like you are having an overflow problem.

That is neither dirt nor mold The finish is worn off the tile I like the pedestal so if i replace would go for another What do you mean overflow? The stuff you see on the corner cabinet is all storable in the cabinet I just keep it out for convenience when no one is visiting

I recently replaced my pedestal sink, in a small bathroom, with a Kingston Brass console. It took up the same amount of space, I liked the shine of the legs, the extra "counter" space on top for soap, and the built in place to hang towels. It comes in many sizes, leg finishes, and style of legs.

I would opt for a different storage solution. Though, it could necessitate placing a heater elsewhere or using under floor heat if that would be warm enough for where you live.

Don't forget to replace the old low round toilet with a taller oval one as well.

I went with the Kohler Memoirs - 19 years ago and it is still a good looking sink . That Kingston brass above looks good as well.

Kendrah do you have the radiant heat? Does it turn on with a switch? I like that idea I live in the northeast so yes cold in winter. I hate the baseboards.

I don't have radiant. I too live in NE and have been concerned that it wouldn't keep me or my home's pipes warm enough. But, I mentioned it because many contractors have tried to twist my arm with it and I read about many people on here using it.

Electric in-floor heat will not be enough to heat the room. Do you need heat in this room? A lot of powder rooms are plenty warm without heat specific to the room itself.

Maybe not I never thought about it It’s on an outside north facing wall so i guess it might get pretty cold without heat.

When you go to your local tile store, ask to see the electric radiant heat option. It is a small room, no need to have the heat on all the time, probably when you have a dinner party? BTW, radiant heat does not heat the room; it heats the floor).

I like your floor tile and I think the stains easily could be fixed. New sink and toilet ( I, as shirlpp, have had Kohler Memoirs in three homes.) is worth the cost.

Black is my choice. And if you do change the floor, do black tile as well.

Thank you. I don’t think the tile is stained It looks like the finish wore off. It’s close to 30 years old and probably not the best quality. I don’t know how that could be repaired? How would I figure that out? I like this gray color Very nice with the white

I just got down and really looked at the tiles that look like this. They don’t feel different and actually the texture is the same as all the other tile There are about 8 tiles that look discolored like this and all the rest look fine.

Time for a new floor. Don't bother yourself with fixing 30 year old inexpensive floor if you can afford a new one. If you don't mind the corner cabinet, then keep it there and don't worry about the heater. I only brought up storage and the radiator because I saw so many products sitting on top and out on the floor.

I moved into a house a Kohler Memoir's pedestal. It does look classic but I found the ridges around the edges built up too much grime too easily and didn't like the proportions of the bowl and edges. But, I do know a lot of people love them. They are really easy to order and often in stock everywhere.

Kendrah Now that I’m talking about this tile problem it occurs to me that it’s been like that since we bought the house 27 years ago and so it was probably defective to begin with The house was three years old when we bought it and the builder really skimped on so many things. I guess it’s common. New floor it is😆
