I need to replace my toaster oven, and am thinking about a commercial half-size countertop oven, something like the Vollrath at this link Half-size 120-volt three-shelf Cayenne® convection oven (vollrathfoodservice.com) as an alternative to the Breville Smart Oven Pro see link Breville Smart Convection Toaster Oven Air | Williams Sonoma (williams-sonoma.com)
Seems the Vollrath and similar commercial half-size countertop ovens take half sheet pans, can go almost 100F hotter than a residential toaster oven, have broiling elements, and could serve as a second oven for big dinner. I typically use my toaster oven for cooking small meals and sides, seldom for toast (I use a toaster). The commercial ones are significantly deeper though (23" vs 17"). In either case, I'd put the appliance on a shelf above, not on, the counter.
Has anyone used an oven similar to the Vollrath I linked?
