The season seems to be winding down sooner than expected. I have started to dig daylilies for the sale/auction this coming weekend. I am taking 55 cultivars with me to sell. My aching back. I am hoping to come back from the auction with DIAMOND BRACELET (Reimer); GET THE POINT (Derrow); MORGAN CLARICE (Beck); HYDRA (Gossard - just for something different); NEON VIOLET (Beck); and FIT FOR A QUEEN (Douglas - just have to get a bright pink).

These photos were taken in 82 degree weather around 2 pm.

It's The Rage: Once established, it really takes off.

TRULY ANGELIC: A very nice pink.

LUNAR EMPIRE: Nice Yellow. I wish the flowers were a little larger.

KIM'S LAUGHTER

TIGRILLO AFTERNOON: These colors are growing on me. Robust plant.

SWEEPING SHADOWS: Love the hose-in-hose doubles

Lovely blooms, David. I love the color of Truly Angelic and another gorgeous pink Bennett. I like your double Sweeping Shadows…..always like a double here.

You still have a lot of blooming, most of mine are done…way to early. Have a few really late ones putting up scapes now.

Truly Angelic is a great performer with clear color. Tigrillo Afteroon has increased in popularity as people see it in person. Hydra is a fairly recent intro. Is it part of the table sales?

Mantis, I will find out if it is a table plant a little later this week. If it is and resonably priced, I will attempt to pick it up.

Some really nice ones! My favorites are BOLD SYMPHONY, FEAR NOT, TRULY ANGELIC, & TIGRILLO AFTERNOON. i Like the colors of each and the rounded forms of the last 3 I mentioned.

I'm drawn to Tigrillo Afternoon and those subtle color variations. I wonder though if it's one that is more suited to the northern states and their milder summer climate. I guess I'd have to pay to play........Kim's laughter is a nice one with that edge, and Lunar Empire is another pretty yellow although paler.....Truly Angelic is my favorite of the two pinks because of a more rounded form......They are all very nice David and I enjoyed seeing them this late in the season.............Maryl

Nice picks! and looking great at 2pm. I love Kim's Laughter and Lunar Empire, pretty yellows.

Fear Not was great here this year, perfect red blooms.

Winding down sooner here as well..

Looked up a few of the ones you're hoping to get and Hydra looks very interesting.
