The submersible pump for my little (2 gallon) outdoor decorative fountain has burned out. A handyman made a mess of trying to stop a leak, using some kind of white pasty silocone. This clogged the pump. I think the pump burned out. I've removed as much of the goop as possible -- and the leak is stopped. The electical outlet has a breaker, and it did trip, but the pump won't run. I don't know what size/watt/whatever pump to buy as a replacement. Maybe this pump was not the right size. This runs continually; we don't turn it off at night. Thank you!
