Behr deckover is a thick product that obscures the wood completely where a product like Sherwin Williams deckscapes adds a layer of protection and color and can be semi transparent or solid color. The behr product is great if the deck has a lot of cracks and checks. If it’s still pretty solid I prefer a stain.
