Put the twin beds together.

Put the beds under each window. Adding window treatments dresses it up.

Why are the beds on the window wall? You really need to enhance the bedding, it is boring. You could wall paper the entire room.

Is this an Air BnB? If so, don't worry about adding more decor. It is fine just like this. If it is actually your home, then yes I see why you'd want it more personalized. Either way, I'd get a head board and situate it far enough from the wall that you can open and close the slats. Leaning against the shutter slats seems like a good way to break them.

Why do you want the beds on that wall? It makes the windows in operable. Is there a terrible view outside? Is there no other configuration that works? Is it at all dangerous to have no egress from this bedroom, no ability to open the windows?

I find your bedding calm and lovely. Great tailored skirts.

With the layout as is - a simple art piece above the lamp that uses blues and beige, in a simple frame. Done…

Maybe…

Thank you all for your great suggestions. I will plan on getting headboards for the beds. Any suggestions on those would be welcome. I do like the idea of a large art piece above the lamp. It’s not only an easy fix but makes a nice focal point coming into the room. There is a website called Big Canvas Art that has some good choices at a reasonable prices.
