Flooring color choice

I cant decide on a floor. white cabinets, black island and hood with calacatta Lincoln quartz counters and backsplash. demo is starting tomorrow. the floor i chose is backordered. I picked out two new samples one very similar to the original pick and one a bit different. my eyes keep gravitating to the right, but i know the middle looks a lot more like the original. I’m stuck on which to choose. please help!

Left is the one on back order.

You are having trouble choosing because they are all similar, and will all work with your other choices. There really is no point in comparing them to a floor you cannot get, so stop looking at the one on the left. Look at the two you can get and choose the one you like best. Sounds like the one on the right.

Choosing materials can be exhausting. It’s a process of elimination from EVERYTHING to one thing, and that’s not easy. Look at these floors with your cabinet samples, then pick one of the two. You really can’t go wrong. Good luck!

@eam44 thanks for that. I guess I’m having a hard time sticking with the right because I worry it is the trendier choice whereas the middle feels safe long term.

The one on the right might or might not have a stripey appearance when it's all laid out.

I can highly recommend that you order a box of the "one" you think you want, or a box of each of the final two, in order to see a larger sample size.

Those small sample boards might not be as representative of the product you order as you hope.

either one really...... maybe the far right will give a different contrast w black island....either will be a contrast w the island but the lighter one is a little more interesting and I like it. If it makes you unsettled then the middle pick is just fine....sometimes what seems a safer choice when it comes to big ticket items is wise. the black island will be a feature that says " bold " [ i think] so that may be enuf.

black island with white.....how the accents..[wicker/ pendants/ hardware?/ pottery] work so well...the floor doesnt need to be dramatic in any way...

The box option is regularly suggested. Lots of posters complain about being surprised and disappointed when their whole install looks different from a sample. A sample can minimize characteristics that might reduce sales. Know what you're getting before the work is done.
