Eucryphia glutinosa and Eucryphia cordifolia. They grow around my area, but not like THAT! Those are the nicest Ive ever seen!

They appear to both be Eucryphias although different species. The first may be E. glutinosa (deciduous) while the second is one of the more common (at least in my area) evergreen species. I am not familiar enough with the various species to confirm which.

I was fairly sure that they were related, but that was as far as I got. :-))))

Wondering if the first one might be the hybrid E. 'Nymanensis'?

I've heard back from the head gardener.

The first, smaller tree is E. glutinosa while the large one is E. cordifolia.

So Mac you were 100% on the mark. To quote him " all of the Eucryphias are having a great year with this wet weather! "
