I'll give these a try. People on my Nextdoor forum are forever linking paywalled articles. I subscribe to NYT and WaPo. I no longer have a sub to local papers, though I"m thinking of subscribing again.

I get NYTimes through campus. I gift articles when I can.

I've also read for our local paper that if you have a library card, you can get around the paywall by logging in through the library.

I'm glad it worked for so many of you. I really have no clue and I click on different buttons on that banner and they all seem to work.

I did hear that the library has subscriptions to many, but not all.
