I have no idea I would certainly not enjoy a shwer in a corrugated space but no context no pics no anything. We did stay in a place with an outdoor shower but it was really a very nice space made to wash off the sand and sea water so it was actually glass it suited the house which was very modern. In my head the corrugated metal sounf ramshackle so post some pics of materials and a plan.

Using the same metal roofing for the shower walls could make it look like your builder was just using up leftover roofing on an afterthought shower to keep costs down. If this is a custom house, make the shower look like it.

My thought is that if the neighboring showers are stone or wood, this will look very cheap and out of place.

When one ventures into where the residents live on Kauai and other Pacific Islands one will see showers/out buildings much like the one you are proposing. What exactly are your questions? I would be asking other residents and seeking what they did to make theirs work for them.

To me? A shower means soap, shampoo, hot water, privacy, and towels.

My thought on that knowing that Kauai gets strong winds from hurricanes and tropical storms is that any kind of sheet metal on a building is often one of the first things to get blown off when a major storm hits. Maybe not a big concern for a small outdoor shower but a flying piece of metal could also damage other things. Just a thought…

I won't be insulted if you call me a "redneck" or "hillbilly," but I think corrugated metal can be utilized for the intended purpose. If the roof is galvanized corrugated metal, I wouldn't propose matching it. Instead, I'd suggest a dark bronze or black color to better compliment the wood and to not draw attention to itself.

There' s nothing better than teak, including a floor. Put the metal on the roof. Jeesh.

Outdoor showers are common where I live ( beach, So Cal ) . We use ours just to do a quick rinse off of sand & saltwater before we enter our home for a real shower with soap , shampoo, etc. It’s especially great for sandy kids ( ours look like sandcrabs when they come back from the beach ) None here have roofs …..
